White space is the space in a design that doesn’t have any elements on it—so no text, images, or graphics. Having ample white space prevents your site from feeling overcrowded and increases the readability of the text on your site.
While you won’t have as much white space on your church mobile website as you do on your desktop site, you can still include as much empty space as you can to ensure maximum readability and flow.
Hide Extra Elements
One way to ensure you have enough white space is to hide non-essential elements on your mobile design. It might seem obvious, but mobile website designs have a lot less space than desktop designs.
