How to Create Call-To-Action Links on Facebook.

In newsfeeds that are constantly jammed with more and more content, it’s important to give your links every chance they can get to stand out above the rest. One way to stand out is to use Call-To-Action Links on Facebook.

The process isn’t straightforward though, and that’s probably why you haven’t seen many outside of Sponsored Posts. This is what a “Call-to-Action” link looks like. You’ll see it looks like a normal post, but it has the download button at the bottom right.

It might only be a slight difference, but in a sea of links, variation catches eyes. The Call to Action button also provides additional context for the link. Users who see the link will see “Download” and understand that this link isn’t the standard article link, that there’s purpose more to it.

How to Make a Facebook Call-To-Action Link

On a desktop computer, navigate to the top right quick links dropdown and click “Create Ads.”

You’ll arrive at the Ads Manager home. Ads Manager home

I decided to “Publish” the link right away. Once I clicked publish, the post disappeared from my Ad Posts list.publish

Sure enough though, when I navigated to our page, there was the link post with the Call to Action of “Sign Up” in tact.Call to Action of “Sign Up”
